How to subscribe to the podcast and watch the videos

Click the appropriate subscription button under "Video Podcast," on the left. Alternatively, click on the appropriate subscription button under each video.

If you click the "iTunes Mac" button: iTunes will launch, subscribe you to the podcast, and begin downloading the first track. Subsequent tracks should download automatically.

If you click the "iTunes Windows" button: I expect a file called "ak_alias.pcast" will download to your desktop. You many need to double-click it to launch iTunes, which will subscribe you to the podcast, and begin downloading the first track. Subsequent tracks should download automatically.

If you click the "Democracy" subscription button: Democracy will launch, subscribe you to the podcast, and begin downloading the first track. As always, subsequent tracks should download automatically. (Incidentally, Democracy is now called Miro. I'll change all the references shortly.)

If you have option paralysis and can't decide which button to click: click any button.

iTunes is a good application for keeping the tracks: iTunes is primarilly a music application, and the podcast is music, so it makes more sense to use it for this particular podcast than to use a more video oriented application like Democracy. (For non-musical video podcasts, Democracy is perhaps better than iTunes.)

With iTunes, you can watch the movies or just listen to them. You can create video playlists, or mix the tracks in with your audio playlists. iTunes organizes storage, it lets you stream the movies over a wireless network, and you can transfer the tracks to an iPod. Download the latest version of iTunes.
