Purl interrupted
A wobbly moment when I'm not sure what I will tackle next by way of a knitting project. Mr Raitte's socks are nearly done (after two false starts on the 1st sock). Cordelia's baby's hat and rabbit are done, except for sewing the face of the rabbit on. Poor thing it looks like something out of The Twlight Zone.
Hopefully I'll be able to join Alison's sockapalooza. I actually saw the post go up when I was browsing at work (it's been a slow few days), but for some reason decided to think about it for a while... by the time I checked back later it was all full up.
Oh well, if not I'll find another. I have a deflated feeling. Perhaps it's just the end of the year.
Best wishes for a peaceful and safe 2005 to you all.

To you, and yours
Christmas went very well, without a hitch. Everyone was very well behaved, perhaps because of having it here, rather than mother's. I notice the blogroll has disappeared from this page, and I haven't posted for weeks.

Needle and stitch
I've been knitting like crazy as well as doing nearly all my Christmas shopping. Have lots of finished projects to show, but just can't quite get around to it. I just finished one sock, pink and white stripes like seaside rock, I can't wait to finish the other and wear them. I dont generally do 'novelty' fashion items but these are so sweet I will make an exception. Besides my wardrobe has become so austere it could do with being tickled up a bit.
