7 July
I think of those whose loved ones won't come home tonight. And I remember that, although the world's eyes are on us, this is not the only place where innocent people have died today in the name of whatever misguided motivations lead us to kill one another.
Let's see how I feel about this post in the morning.

Anna- I'm glad that you are safe. And I'm so horribly sad for all of those who aren't. Be well...

Wise--although sometimes I feel that I can't possibly think about all those other people and places if I want to stay sane. It's easier to keep the grief focused. Which is exactly the problem.

Anna- so eloquently put. Still, my thoughts were with you today. I checked your blog several times, hoping you'd post. We're all relieved you're safe. Hope your loved ones are too.

I am really at a lost for words, such a horrible crime, I don't know where to begin. My heart goes out to all, since we are all affected by this.

Oh, Anna - you are so right!
I'm so so glad you are safe.

I'm glad to know that your safe and I've checked in with all my London friends but your words are so true. There's too much unnecessary suffering in the world!

I too was obsessively checking on you, Anna. And you're absolutely right. If this mad act succeeds in pushing the anti-poverty agenda off the table in Edinburgh this week, then this tragedy will become an even greater tragedy.

Flying the Union Jack today, standing beside you in this horrible time. Glad to hear you are well.
You are a tough lot -- the Blitz didn't do you in and this won't either.
