Go away, knitting maths

I have had the pattern for Sgt Pepper written up for a while now, and sat down this evening to work on the schematics. Before you know it, I'm questioning all my calculations and the maths has killed my confidence. Tomorrow I am going on a quest for software that will take the pain out of this part. For tonight, I'm setting Sgt Pepper, and my calculator, aside, and going to read in bed.

I can hardly bear to ask, but I can't bear NOT asking either. I'm hoping you've gotten some news about your friend.

i've been secretly hoping that you'd be writing the pattern for this and now that you have, i'm so excited! yea the maths can be a little daunting at times, but once you hammer it out, the results will be so gratifying.

Mmm ... I can envision lots of different version of that cute jacket popping up in the blogsville soon! ;)
Sorry to bring back the sad topic, but I am still thinking of your friend. I have a blog friend living in the suburb of London and I was so relieved to find out she was okay. Let me know if you have news of her. Thanks.

It's at times like this that we all wish we had paid more attention in maths classes... Hope you find the right software. Good luck.

there is a blog i always read by a fantastic lady named lucia that has different calculators and such, if it is not on her site, she would know where to find it....http://thedietdiary.com/blog/...if that doesn't work just do the dietdiary.com...also, she will help herself if you email her, she is awesome...good luck, n.

Reading in bed is a good thing to do. We have to be good to our selves some times.

Wise choice. Math is hard.

A good book always does the trick or even a not very good book sometimes.

Didn't Colleen at Subway Knitter use a schematic programme recently? Might be worth a look at her site.

Your skills are so impressive. Must tell you that upon first viewing the incredible jacket tonightit tonight, Michael Jackson came to mind.

Love your site and will visit it frequently.
