Would it be childish to cry?

Just because my course has been cancelled? But I was so looking forward to it.

Sigh. Why must disappointments be so very... disappointing.

Oh No. I want to cry for you. Don't you just hate disappointing disappointments?

Not childish at all. This sounded like an excellent course. I'm sad for you. :-(

you have had some real bummers lately! yuch! the course not going is very sad, and the colors bleeding on the bag is sad after spending all that time. i've never had that happen, but i have never used the cascade yarn. sorry for your mishaps. i can feel your pain. :(

It's not childish. I would cry. I'm so sorry you won't get to take it!

Posted by: jodi at July 5, 2005 04:21 PM

Oh no. How crummy. Let yourself have a good cry. You'll feel better.

I'm so sorry your class got cancelled. I was looking forward to reading all about it.

Did they say why? Are they running it later in the year, if so go your name down quickly. In the meantime any others you fancy having a go at? They'll do it again I'm sure and I bet it will be even better next time. Don't cry too much, it makes your wool all wet!

Cry away! Selfishly I am disappointed too since I knew we would all benefit from what you got out of it, even if it was only seeing your beautiful designs. Is it too soon to say that you don't need that course, you're too good for that course, and there are other courses in the sea?

Oh, I'm so sad for you!!

Posted by: Purly Whites at July 5, 2005 05:05 PM

Oh that's crap, so sorry that they've done that... Hopefully they will run it again soon and it will be wonderful for you, in the meantime is there anything else you could do while you're in the mood for some learnin'?

Hugs

Anna

Oh I am sorry! I think a little foot-stamping might be in order. Let's hope it gets re-scheduled.

Okay...that totally sucks (I tell my kids to never say 'sucks', but sometimes it fits...like now)...take care and I'm sorry your disappointed. Go buy some yarn...that's what I would do :)

I agree with everyone else, it does suck, but maybe in the mean time, you teach yourself something new.

Disappointing? yes, but in what they call "The Grand Scheme of Things", not all that important. I suggest a day treating yourself to design inspiration — museums, art galleries, shops, etc. and come home with a notebook full of little notes, sketches and ideas.

That does seem very unfair. I must admit that I was very envious that you could go on a course in London. Mention of anywhere in the UK always makes me feel homesick. I hope that they will run it again, and you get to go then.

I also want to mention the bag from the previous post. It might not be the right colours, but it is pretty cool none-the-less. Good luck with working out how to stop the colurs running.

Oh, this is so very disapointing... I hate when courses are cancelled. It sounded so interesting too!

Posted by: Diana at July 5, 2005 07:10 PM

Oh no! That's rubbish. I hope they reschedule the course so that you can start looking forward to it again. Like Tracy, I am disappointed for you, but also for me, because we would have seen what your learnt. My suggestion would be to go to the Italian coffee shop across the road from the Earl and buy a slice of their flourless chocolate cake which is served with a dollop of hazlenut cream. I find it's very difficult to feel too bad about things after good cake.
