Sock karma
My deposit to the knitting bank of good karma went in the postbox to Amerikee this morning.
Badcaul socks, started 11 Nov 05 finished 19 Nov 05
Pattern: My own, available here, or as part of a set here here
Yarn: Koigu KPPPM

I’ve never known speedier socks. I can only attribute this to the facts that I a) knit both socks at once, which kept me sufficiently interested that b) I didn’t work on very much else last week.
Happy. I think this slipped stitch cable pattern shows off a bright Koigu really well.

There are some more images of the work in progress here.
£2 - you will be sent a link to download the pattern as an electronic (pdf) file, approx 950K.

Those look amazing! I love those vibrant colors. Is this another one of your own patterns? I just finished your Elfine socks and I LOVE them!

Lovely. Your karma is definitely on the ups, and your formerly-neglected recipient, I'm sure, will find herself extremely gratified that her original pal finked!!

Gorgeous. Nice way to pay it forward.

Beautiful socks! The color and yarn (who doesn't love Koigu?) are perfect.

OK - I'm with Kerrie - I will _definitely_ be knitting socks come the new year (once I've got all the Christmas stuff out of the way). I love both the yarn and the stitch pattern.

I love these socks, the pattern is really nice! But most of all I like the colour of this Koigu yarn. I've been spending all morning trying to find out which colour it is. Do you know the exact number? I would really appreciate you telling me!

Anna, is there any chance you are going to make the Pippa sweater pattern available for purchase? Even if you make available just the one size, I could work the pattern to my larger size I expect. But whatever you decide, I just wanted you to know that it is a dreamy sweater --I keep coming back to look at it! Emily

the socks are fab! love the colorway of the koigu - you are speedy with getting them done in a week... such a nice pattern, too. all around aces, i'd say!

Wonderful pattern and yarn. I'm very envious of your design ability - especially as I'm searching for a good cabled sock pattern. How much easier it is when you can simply whip up one of your own.

Those are simply beautiful -- the colors just make you smile ;)

I agree - that pattern definitely shows off those colors very nicely. A disappointed SockPal is going to be VERY happy when they get those lovelies in the post.

they're great! the color is so pretty.

Those socks are totally gorgeous! Where do you get the yarn? I haven't seen it before - they certainly don't stock in in my LYS, but then they don't stock ANY sock yarn :(

Hi Anna,
I love your socks! Thanks for all the free patterns (I've printed off Elfine). Would you post your preferred needle for your socks? I'm thinking you must not use Addi turbos since you call for size 2.25mm (size 1) for your Elfine pattern, and Addi's don't come in 2.25mm. Their size 1 is 2.5mm. I'd also love your Giotto pattern if you ever post it. Thanks!

Anna - I love these socks, and they do show off the Koigu very well. I am right know knitting your Elfine socks - the lace is so pretty! Thank you for making the pattern available.
I wanted to let you know that I created a chart for the Elfine lace pattern - it's just easier for me to "see" what to do than to try to find my place when it's all written out. I'd be happy to send you a copy of the chart I created if you like, for anyone else who might ask you for it - just let me know!

I found some errors in the pattern...
Can you email me so I can send them to you?

BTW, I am loving making these socks, they are fast to knit and so pretty! I am making mine is Cherry Tree Hill Supersock in "Wild Cherry" colorway. I got the gauge spot on! What a miracle...
