Cakewalk

The tabby socks were such a success, and seeing Cara's pink socks reminded me of the pink and white sock yarn I dyed with Kerrie back in September.

An antidote to late winter gloom. Before you know it, we'll be walking beneath cherry blossom while daffs and bluebells flower round our stripy toes.

Yes! Cherry blossoms were the first thing I thought of. Very pretty.

Oh Anna! I LOVE them! So very happy to trade inspirations with you - these socks really brightened my day! I'm needing that right now. Thank you!

That was September? No way. I love the way they are coming out, so pretty. Yes, I'm totally hooked on socks. I'm on pair number 3 now and then next on the list are some Jaywalkers for myself

Heh - I'm starting some more Jaywalkers from this crazy hank of Anne - it's red, scarlet, pink, fuschia, and rusty orange. If that doesn't cheer me up out of the winter doldrums, I don't know what will. It's pretty much unphotographable - maybe if we get some sun, I'll try again.

Funny, I just indulged in some pink Trekking... can spring be far behind? :-)

Very cheery socks! Thanks for posting them - it's been bleak and rainy here but we seem to be getting a bit of much needed sun today. Love the sketch for your new design as well as the description of your motivation...

Hi Anna,I really like your jaywalker socks and I think the picot trim is a very good addition to the pattern. I am pretty new in knitting and I would like to try on some similar socks. However I am not familiar with the term "pick up hem". If it is possible can you please explain briefly that term?

Anna,
Do you use one circular needle or 2? I love the pretty pink.

This is soooo beautiful....your totally inspiring me to start dyeing my own yarn....can you tell me what you used to acutally dye the yarn? did you use something fancy or just the ol' kool-aid trick?
