Safari | Make text bigger

If you find text in a web page is too small (or less commonly, too large)...
Increase text size:
Press the APPLE key and + key
Decrease text size:
Press the APPLE key and - key
It works in Firefox too!

great now how do I make these changes permanent. this font size is ridiculously small.

If you check in Safari > Preferences > Advanced, you can use "Universal Access: never use font sizes smaller than..." to push up the font size for all web pages. Give it a try. I tried this in the past and got mixed results.
